Fujian Children's Hospital

Fujian Children's Hospital in Fujian Province is China's largest children's hospital. Given the characteristics of Fujian's mountainous terrain, inconvenient transportation, and significant economic disparities between coastal and inland areas, this hospital, established in December 2020, has gathered the best pediatric medical resources in the entire province. It provides various medical services to the 8 million children in Fujian.

Although polydactyly is not a common condition in children, yet it still occurs at a rate of 1 in 500. While most cases of polydactyly do not affect normal limb function, they often bring many challenges to a child's growth. The Orthopedics Department of Fujian Children's Hospital currently treats over 100 cases of polydactyly in toddlers each year. A significant number of these patients are unable to undergo timely surgical treatment due to financial constraints. Therefore, BLUENET and Fujian Children's Hospital closely collaborate in the field of pediatric polydactyly. They work together to identify children in need of assistance based on professional opinions, ensuring that more children receive timely and standardized surgical treatment, allowing them to return to a normal and happy childhood.
