GIVE-ME-FIVE

We recognize the historical challenges associated with limb duplication deformities, specifically polydactyly and syndactyly, which have unfortunately led to unwanted attention and discrimination in China for generations. These conditions, though not uncommon, can significantly impact a child's growth and development. Congenital polydactyly occurs in 0.3 to 3.6 per thousand newborns, while congenital syndactyly ranges from 0.30 to 1 per thousand.

Early diagnosis and timely surgical treatment during childhood can greatly minimize both the mental and physical impact of these conditions. We understand that, regrettably, some children face barriers to timely intervention due to financial constraints. This situation can perpetuate discrimination and hinder their equal opportunities for personal and academic development.

In response to this concern, we are dedicated to making a positive difference. Our goal is to provide financial and mental support to these children so that they can receive the necessary interventions, enabling them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. By restoring their health early on, we aim to empower them with confidence and courage. Our hope is that, with our assistance, these children can confidently extend their palms for a "GIVE-ME-FIVE" and share bright smiles with the world. Together, we can contribute to a future where every child has an equal chance to thrive and succeed.
